"Alle Kunst ist erotisch", schrieb 1908 Adolf Loos in seiner Schrift "Ornament und Verbrechen". Ein interessanter Gedanke. Interessant ist aber auch die Feststellung, daß es keine Erotik ohne Tabus gibt. Das heißt, daß Erotik erst durch die Einführung von Tabus in unsere Gesellschaft entstand und somit Erotik eine Grundvoraussetzung für die Kunst ist, die den Drang nach dem Tabubruch in sich trägt. Und die Liste der Grenzüberschreitungen ist bis heute, wie die russische Fotografin Irina Velitschko beweist, lang. So spielt sie gern mit dem Motiv des Transvestiten oder reibt sich an scheinbar phädophilen Phantasien. Oft stellt sich dann bei einem solchen brisanten Thema, ein sich besonders moralisch gebender Mensch, die Frage: "Darf man denn das überhaupt?" und der Ruf nach Verbot und künstlerischer Zensur folgt auf dem Fuße. Doch das wäre nach Adolf Loos, das Ende aller Kunst. Denn alle Kunst ist erotisch!
