Over forty years ago, when I was a child, my parents decided I needed to take "art lessons." I had little or no manual dexterity for painting or sculpture—so I found myself in love with art, but without a visual medium.
Now, though, I pursue that love through photography. In particular, I try to capture something intimately true about the women I photograph—something of how they own themselves as persons of sensually.
